Whirlow Cottage, Sheffield – Front Garden Design

Brief: To create a welcoming entrance in keeping with the charm and character of the property. To provide screening from cars. Create a private space for clients mother who lives in side annexe.

Design: Two drystone beds with low corten steel edging and pleach trees create screening from car section of driveway. Gravel pathway leaded up to the front door, with low corten steel beds on either side. A small private seating space surrounded by planting creates the perfect hidden spot for clients mum to relax. In front of annex a small lean to green house and potting table provide space for clients mum to enjoy her gardening hobby.
