Juniper Close, Oxted, Surrey

Brief: To create a low maintenance front garden in a formal style. To add colour to back garden, and create storage for bikes for family of 4. To come up with a solution to the gaps in the leylandii hedging.

Design Front: Create a balanced and formal scheme for an awkward plot. Curved sandstone path up to front door – framed with low box hedging. Area covered in decorative aggregate and planted with bay standard trees. Area planted with colourful tulips to add a pop of colour in spring.

Design Back: Screening batten between hedge gaps with colourful perennial planting in front. Reshaped the boarders to add interest to the lawn. Designed a bespoke bike store and shed to provide ample storage for the family, whilst not intruding on the limited sized space.
