Small terrace family garden – Hangingwater, Sheffield

Brief: to create a useable child friendly garden in a limited space. Limited budget.

Design: Raised beds with open batten fencing and soft perennial planting softened the boundaries. Covering over existing paving with artificial turf to create a useable space for kids to play. Sleeper edging to raise level and work with what was already on site to help reduce costs. Sandpit built with sleepers and a lid covered in artificial turf to create doubled up play space.
