Small terrace garden – Roach Road, Sheffield

Brief: The main requirement of the new design is to get rid of the soil, put in a millstone water feature and create a lower maintenance space.

Design: Softwood railway sleepers to divide up levels and create a small patio space, paving staggered with gravel edges to allow for drainage. A millstone water feature surrounded with pebbles and ornamental grasses, viewable from top patio and lower. Wildlife friendly planting included and a bird table for client to enjoy bird watching from lower patio.
